1962 C1 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod

The Chevy Bandit’s 1962 Corvette: The Green Gator (Arizona Winter Edition) — some cars turn heads, but The Green Gator stops time. Dipped in unmistakable Gator Green, a color so rich it looks alive, it crouched in the driveway like a predator soaking up the morning sun. The final‑year C1 body lines caught the Arizona light perfectly, every curve gleaming like polished emerald steel. Painted years ago by Conquer Custom in Tampa, it still looked fresh enough to drip. This wasn’t a garage queen; it was built to breathe, and today it would inhale crisp Arizona winter air with the top down. Arizona winters are their own magic — brisk enough to sting your cheeks, bright enough for mandatory sunglasses. Perfect convertible weather for anyone bold enough, and The Chevy Bandit was. Dropping into the light‑tan cockpit, the leather already warm, the Wonderbar AM radio hummed softly in 1962 style. Hands gripped the thick wood wheel, the shifter poised like it had waited all night. A twist of the key, and The Green Gator didn’t just start — it came alive. The 350 V8 with Holley Sniper EFI barked through dual exhaust, blending classic small‑block thunder with modern precision. The Edelbrock mid‑rise intake gulped cold desert air like pure performance, while the aluminum radiator kept its cool as the attitude ran hot. With the top off, the winter wind surged into the cabin — sharp, clean, electric — wrapping around The Bandit like a co‑pilot. Once on the open highway, the desert became its stage, the Gator Green paint flashing like a streak of living emerald.

1987 K5 Cheverolet Blazer Restomod

The Legend of the Chevy Bandit’s 1987 K5 Blazer began before the sun rose over the Arizona desert, when his garage was alive not with noise, but with presence. Under a lone hanging bulb sat the machine that had become more legend than steel: a 1987 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Silverado, reborn in Dark Grey and built to defy time itself. This wasn’t just a restoration — it was a resurrection. When the Bandit turned the key, the Blue Print 383 Stroker V8 didn’t just start, it growled, a deep rumble fed by a Holley Sniper EFI system that made every cold start sharp and every throttle hit instant. Long-tube headers and dual exhaust announced its arrival, while a freshly rebuilt 700R4 4-speed automatic thundered through the gears. With only 2,498 miles since the build, every drive felt like the first heartbeat of a new beast. Rolling into the morning light, the 4-inch lift and 35-inch Toyo Open Country tires on 17-inch Raceline wheels dared any terrain to challenge it. This was no mall crawler — this was a mountain mover. Inside, custom black leather racing seats with red stitching held the Bandit in place, white-faced digital/analog gauges glowed with intent, and a RetroSound stereo mixed vintage style with modern sound. Power windows, power locks, and ice-cold A/C made it comfort without compromise. The Bandit aimed the Blazer toward the horizon, ready for the first ride of a new era.

2008 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod

The Chevy Bandit's "Black Widow": The 2008 C6   For The Chevy Bandit, some Corvettes are just cars you collect; others are cars that steal your soul. This 2008 C6 in Midnight Black isn't just another ride in the garage—it’s the accomplice. It’s the perfect storm of American muscle history, representing the exact moment the C6 grew its sharpest teeth while wearing its finest suit.  Here is why The Chevy Bandit is absolutely addicted to this specific beast:  1. The Exterior: Dressed to Kill The paint isn't just black; it’s a vacuum of light. It's a miles-deep, liquid obsidian finish that turns the Arizona sun into a mirror and looks absolutely menacing under streetlights. The C6 shape—with those fixed, exposed headlamps (a controversial move the Bandit loves for its modern aggression) and sharp fender creases—looks best in dark colors, making the car appear lower, wider, and ready to pounce.  Check out the C& Headlight kit! Morimoto XB LED Headlights, Plug and Play Headlight Housing Upgrade, Fits 2005-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6, DOT Approved Assembly with Switchback Sequential Turn Signals & UV Coated Lenses (1x ‎LF460)  The Stripe of Aggression: The Bandit couldn't leave it stock black. Slicing across that massive hood, over the targa roof, and down the rear decklid is a Matte Carbon Flash racing stripe flanked by thin, blood-red pinstripes. It’s not subtle. Against the glossy black paint, the matte stripe looks like a scar, a visual warning that this car is not to be trifled with at a stoplight.  2. The Heartbeat: The 2008 LS3 Miracle Why is the Bandit so passionate about the 2008 model year specifically? Because 2008 changed everything.  Before '08, the base C6 had the 6.0L LS2. But in 2008, Chevy dropped in the legendary 6.2L LS3 V8. This was a massive jump in displacement and architecture, bumping stock horsepower to 430hp (and 436hp with the NPP exhaust, which this car definitely has).  To The Chevy Bandit, the LS3 is the holy grail of reliable, naturally aspirated violence. The cold start is a sharp, barking explosion that settles into a guttural, choppy idle that shakes the whole chassis. It’s a sound that promises jail time if you aren't careful.  3. The Office: The 3LT Luxury Cockpit The Bandit likes to drive fast, but he also likes to be comfortable while doing it. This is where the 3LT Premium Equipment Group sets this car apart from a stripped-down track rat.  Slipping inside is like entering a high-speed fighter jet cockpit wrapped in luxury.  The Throne: You drop into heated, perforated Ebony leather sport buckets with six-way power adjustment. They grip tight in the corners but offer grand-touring comfort on long desert runs.  The Tech: The 3LT package includes the premium Bose 7-speaker audio system (though the Bandit rarely turns it off on; the engine is the music).  The View: The absolute favorite feature for the Bandit is the Heads-Up Display (HUD). Green digital readouts of speed, RPM, and g-force hovering on the windshield mean his eyes never have to leave the asphalt horizon as the digits climb alarmingly fast.  The Bandit's Verdict This 2008 Black 3LT is a Jekyll and Hyde machine. It has the heated leather seats and refined cruising capability to drive across the country in total comfort. But drop a gear and smash the throttle, and that aggressive stripe becomes a blur, the LS3 roars, and it becomes a pure adrenaline pump.  It’s sophisticated savagery. And that is exactly how The Chevy Bandit likes it.

1968 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod

THE CAR THAT STARTED THE LEGEND  Long before the convoy of Corvettes, the roaring C10, the K5, and the Green Gator, there was one machine that changed everything for the Chevy Bandit. A single car that turned a lifelong dream into a destiny. A Lemans Blue 1968 Chevrolet Corvette — the first classic he ever bought, the spark that ignited the Bandit brand.  It wasn’t just a car. It was a promise he made to himself as a kid: One day, I’ll own a Corvette. And when that day finally came, it arrived in the shape of a shark‑nosed icon, dipped in Lemans Blue, wearing flared fender wells, wide BFG racing tires, and chrome American Racing wheels that looked like they were cut from lightning.  Under the hood sat a crate 327 cubic‑inch small‑block, crisp and eager, paired with a four‑speed manual that demanded real driving — no shortcuts, no computers, just man, machine, and the open road.  This was the Bandit’s first classic. The one that started the collection. The one that made the dream real.  THE 1968 CORVETTE: BIRTH OF THE C3 SHARK  The 1968 model year marked the beginning of the C3 generation, inspired by the Mako Shark II concept car. It introduced the long, aggressive nose, the sweeping fenders, and the dramatic curves that made the C3 one of the most recognizable Corvettes ever built.  Interesting facts about the 1968 Corvette include   • It was the first year of the T‑top removable roof panels   • It introduced the hidden windshield wipers, tucked under a vacuum‑operated panel   • It featured a completely redesigned interior with aircraft‑inspired gauges   • Only about 28,500 Corvettes were produced that year, making early C3s especially collectible today   • The 327 engine was available in multiple configurations, with horsepower ratings ranging from 300 to 350 depending on the setup    For YouTube viewers searching for classic Corvettes, C3 history, or 1968 Corvette facts, this car sits at the crossroads of design evolution and American muscle heritage.  A CAR WITH A SOLDIER’S STORY  But this particular 1968 Corvette carries a deeper weight — a story etched into its fiberglass long before the Bandit ever turned the key.  During the late 1960s, many young American soldiers bought Corvettes before shipping out to Vietnam. It was a symbol of hope, of the life they planned to return to. A reward for surviving the chaos overseas. Tragically, many never made it home to drive the cars they dreamed of.  The Bandit’s Lemans Blue ’68 is one of those cars.  Its first owner was a young soldier who bought it before deployment. He never returned. The car sat, waiting for a driver who would never come back to claim it. Years later, it found its way into the hands of the Chevy Bandit — someone who understood the weight of its history and the honor of keeping its story alive.  Every time the Bandit fires up that 327, every time the four‑speed clicks into gear, the car isn’t just moving under its own power. It’s carrying the memory of the young man who never got the chance.  THE BANDIT AND THE BLUE SHARK  When the Bandit bought the ’68, he wasn’t just buying a Corvette. He was buying the beginning of everything that would follow — the channel, the stories, the fleet of classics, the identity that thousands now recognize.  This Lemans Blue C3 became the foundation of the Bandit brand. The first chapter. The original heartbeat.  It’s the car that taught him what it feels like to chase a dream and catch it. The car that showed him how a machine can carry history, emotion, and legacy all at once. The car that still turns heads with its flared fenders, wide stance, and unmistakable shark‑body attitude.
